Since Childhood Swastika had a strong connection with the film industry. Her father Santu Mukherjee was a legendary actor. Swastika took dance training from Mamata Shankar. Swastika appeared for the first time through a bengali tv series Devdasi. She made her big screen debut through a bengali movie Hemanter Pakhi.
After that, for her amazing skills of acting she gets lead role in Ravi Kinagi’s film Mastan. Then she gifted us lots of favourite Bengali movies like Sathihara, Krishnakanter Will, Jatishwar, Mishawr Rawhoshyo & many more. In 2011 she got chance for debuting in bollywood industry through Mumbai Cutting & then in 2015, She shared screen with Sushant Singh Rajput in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.
She worked in many movies and Web series like Patal Lok, Dupur Thakurpo from where we got our Uma Boudi & Black Widow etc. Swastika recently acted in Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara as mother of Kizzie Basu(Sanjana Sanghi). She also appears in Tasher Ghor, Charitraheen season 3, And from here she gets more popularity in film industry.
