Harnaaz started participating in the beauty pageant at the young age of 17. She participated in Miss Chandigarh 2017 and Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018 and emerged as a winner in both competitions.
In 2019, she won the title of Femina Miss India Punjab. Later she has been a part of Femina Miss India 2019 and finished in the top 12.
She was shortlisted among the top 50 semi-finalists in Miss Diva Universe 2021 winning titles such as Miss Talented, Miss Beach Body, and Miss Beautiful Smile. At the end of the beautiful event, she was crowned as a winner by the former winner Adline Castelino.
