Abhay grew up watching his brother Abhishek Verma on the television screen and that may become a motivation for him to be an actor. He started his career with TV Advertisements.
His debut film is Mann Bairagi (2020) where he was seen playing the role of Our honorable prime minister Narendra Modi. This film was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mahaveer Jain.
Little Things 3 marked his digital debut of Abhay Verma co-starring Mithila Kulkar and Dhruv Seghal. Then got the opportunity to work in Marzi (2020), a thriller series co-starring Rajeev Khandelwal and Ahana Kumra. In 2021, he was seen playing Kalyan\Salman in a thriller series The Family Man 2.
